Founded by Mike Valmadre in 2004, the business began with a clear focus: to build well, communicate clearly, and treat every home like it matters. With a background in commercial construction and a deep appreciation for Western Australia’s South West, Mike set the tone for a company that would be known not just for its professionalism, but for its ability to create homes that feel grounded, refined, and deeply connected to their surroundings. Today, the strength of the business lies in our experienced team, refined systems, and reputation for craftsmanship, clarity and doing things properly project after project.
Valmadre homes are shaped by many things. As Founder and Director, he’s committed to delivering not only an exceptional build but an exceptional experience for every client, ensuring every detail is completed to the highest standard.
With more than 30 years of experience across commercial and residential construction, project management, and quantity surveying, Mike’s extensive expertise underpins his reputation for craftsmanship and quality workmanship, project after project. His depth of knowledge ensures consistent customer satisfaction on every project, right down to the finest detail.
Dave Cameron
Project Manager
A carpenter and licensed builder by trade, Dave brings extensive experience in custom home construction and a positive attitude that makes building dreams seem easy.
Dave sharpened his skills before joining Valmadre Homes by handcrafting high-end custom homes from the ground up through final completion throughout the lower southwest. His ability to connect with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers ensures a smooth and collaborative build process.
Dave’s skill, dedication, and attention to detail make him an invaluable member of the Valmadre team and a key contributor to delivering exceptional quality.
Rob Mcpherson
Site Supervisor
Rob is the steady presence on site who keeps Valmadre Homes running at full speed, bringing precision and a problem-solving mindset to every project.
As Site Supervisor, he ensures projects stay on schedule, and quality is always the top priority. Beginning his career as a carpenter, Rob transitioned into site supervision, applying his extensive hands-on knowledge to the construction of high-end, custom-built homes.
At Valmadre Homes, Rob ensures every moving part comes together seamlessly on site. Whether overseeing site operations, tackling unexpected challenges, or maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship, he keeps projects running smoothly with a steady hand and a practical, hands-on approach.
Karla White
Office Manager and Project Administrator
As Office Manager and Project Administrator, Karla brings structure to every Valmadre Homes project.
She plays a central role in connecting the office, the on-site team, and clients, ensuring each project runs smoothly from first contact through final handover. Known for her clear communication and intuitive grasp of project flow, Karla keeps information moving seamlessly, supports clients throughout their journey, and helps maintain a safe and well-managed work environment.

Jo Clark
Finance Manager
Jo brings financial precision to Valmadre Homes’ day-to-day operations.
With a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and extensive experience as a chartered accountant, she manages Valmadre Homes’ financial processes to ensure every project runs smoothly behind the scenes.
Analytical and detail-oriented, Jo ensures that whether she’s refining internal processes or overseeing financial management, the numbers are as carefully considered as the projects themselves. Her work provides the solid foundations that allow the team to focus on what they do best, confident that the finances are in expert hands.
Will Valmadre
Estimator
Will combines financial expertise with a builder’s mindset, bringing a strong understanding of both numbers and marketing to every project.
After earning a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance & Marketing), he gained extensive experience in the finance sector before his passion for building led him into construction.
Coming from a family of builders, he brings construction experience to every project, evident in his approach to each one. As Estimator at Valmadre Homes, Will balances design with budget realities, ensuring clients achieve the best possible outcomes without compromising quality.
